RULES AND BYLAWS (REVISED 2022)

1. The name of the Society shall be "Non-Academic Staff Association, IIT Bombay."
   The term "Association" hereinafter shall refer to the Non-Academic Staff Association, IIT Bombay.

2. The Registered Office of the Association shall be situated within the IIT Bombay campus. Its postal address shall be:
        Non-Academic Staff Association
        Ground Floor, Main Building
        IIT Bombay, Powai
        Mumbai – 400076.

3. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of the Association shall be:

3.1 To help promote the professional advancement of members and improve their service conditions and work opportunities, in harmony with the development of the Institute.

3.2 To protect the present and future interests and prospects of the members and to work for their welfare.

3.3 To maintain a cooperative, progressive, and creative attitude, and to promote collective thinking in addressing the problems of the members and of the Institute in general.

3.4 To strive to help in addressing crises and exigencies arising at the national level by pooling the cooperation of the members.

3.5 To cooperate with and affiliate to like-minded associations and organizations of a non-political nature.

3.6 To carry out such other activities as may be deemed necessary for the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Association.
